The River Restaurant at The Lowry Hotel’s 15 course taster menu 6th October – £59.00 per person

For one night only, we will be offering a 15 course taster menu to honour our 15th anniversary.

The menu is creative and exciting, but the real beauty behind it is the provenance of the ingredients. We have sourced the very best of what the North has to offer.  Savoury courses include a blue cheese mousseline using cheese from Garstang, supplied by Gornalls which is one of Manchester’s oldest dairy suppliers. Venison tortellini also features, sourced by multi award winning butcher, John Mettrick’s of Glossop, with the meat itself originating from Macclesfield.

Gin cured salmon is another exciting dish on the menu, using farmed Scottish salmon from Loch Duart.

Sweet dishes range from a Valrhona (one of France’s most premium and luxurious chocolates) mousse to a more traditional peach melba.
